In a major enforcement drive, authorities in Palwal launched a large-scale demolition campaign against unauthorized colonies. The District Town Planning (DTP) department took strict action, demolishing eight illegal colonies spread across nearly 29 acres of agricultural land.
The sudden crackdown created panic among property dealers and landowners involved in unauthorized plotting activities. Officials made it clear that illegal developments will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Structures Razed to Ground
During the operation, heavy machinery was deployed to completely wipe out illegal infrastructure. The demolition drive included:
Breaking down under-construction buildings
Uprooting internal roads and layouts
Removing temporary offices of property dealers
Authorities ensured that no basic infrastructure was left behind, preventing any possibility of reoccupation or reconstruction.
Notices Ignored, Strict Action Follows
Officials revealed that multiple complaints had been received regarding illegal colonies being developed across different areas. After verification, notices were issued to those involved, instructing them to remove unauthorized constructions.
However, when the warnings were ignored, authorities moved ahead with decisive demolition action.

The action was carried out in several identified hotspots:
●Panchvati Road and Dhaulagarh area: 3 colonies over ~9.5 acres
●Rural areas: Illegal plotting across ~20 acres

DTP officer Anil Malik, acting as duty magistrate, supervised the entire operation on-site.

More Action Likely Ahead
Authorities have made it clear that this is part of an ongoing campaign against illegal colonies. More such actions are expected in the coming weeks.
Officials have also advised citizens:

●Verify approvals before investing in property
●Stay cautious of illegal land deals
Strict legal action will be taken against violators, including property dealers and landowners.
