Uttar Pradesh has firmly positioned itself as one of India’s leading digital governance states, recording a massive expansion in online public services and achieving complete implementation of mandatory e-services. According to the National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA) 2025 report, the state has made a decisive leap in technology-driven administration under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The report highlights that Uttar Pradesh now offers 929 e-services, marking a sharp rise within just one year. More significantly, the state has achieved 100 percent implementation of all 59 mandatory e-services, setting a new benchmark for transparent, citizen-centric governance in India.
Record Growth in E-Services and Digital Delivery
Out of the 23,934 e-services available across India, Uttar Pradesh alone contributes 929 services—one of the highest among all states. These services span critical areas such as caste, income and domicile certificates, pensions, scholarships, and district-level citizen services, all delivered through faceless, paperless, and time-bound digital platforms.
The report underlines that this shift has drastically reduced citizens’ dependence on physical offices, helping curb corruption and improve service efficiency.

Unified Portals Boost Ease of Doing Business
A major contributor to this success has been the state’s focus on integrated digital platforms. Services delivered through portals such as e-District and Nivesh Mitra have simplified access for both citizens and investors. Nearly 88 percent of Uttar Pradesh’s e-services are now available through unified portals, with over 822 services accessible from a single digital window.
This consolidation has significantly enhanced Ease of Doing Business, making Uttar Pradesh more attractive for domestic and global investors.
Rapid Expansion in Just One Year
The pace of digital expansion has been particularly notable. In November 2024, the state had around 800 e-services. By November 2025, that number rose to 929, reflecting continuous monitoring and governance-driven execution.
Local administration services, welfare schemes, and grievance redressal systems are now largely digitised, ensuring faster turnaround and greater accountability.
Digital Grievance Redressal Strengthens Governance
NeSDA 2025 also places Uttar Pradesh among the top-performing states in public grievance redressal. The state’s digital complaint systems allow citizens to raise issues online and track their resolution, reinforcing trust in governance.
By combining service delivery with digital accountability, Uttar Pradesh has demonstrated how technology can transform governance at scale.
