The Noida district administration has released the draft electoral roll following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, revealing that 4.47 lakh voters have been removed from the voter list across the city’s three विधानसभा constituencies. After the revision, the total number of registered voters in Noida now stands at 14.18 lakh.
The draft voter list was published on Tuesday after the completion of the SIR programme, which was conducted between November 4 and December 26. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) were present at all polling booths with the updated voter list as well as records of missing voters.

Why Were 4.47 Lakh Names Deleted?
According to officials, the deleted names include voters who were found deceased, had shifted out of the district, or were untraceable during verification. These individuals could not be located during the door-to-door verification process and were therefore removed from the draft list.

Claims and Objections Invited Till January 21
With the release of the draft roll, the district administration has invited claims and objections from residents. Citizens can apply for:
◆Inclusion of their name
◆Deletion of incorrect entries
◆Correction of voter details

Objections and claims can be submitted till January 21, while the final voter list will be published on March 7.
1.76 Lakh Voters to Receive Notices

Officials said that 1,76,228 voters had submitted enumeration forms but failed to provide documents linking them to the 2003 voter list, which is required for verification. These voters will soon receive formal notices asking them to submit supporting documents.
However, the administration is currently awaiting guidelines from the Election Commission of India before issuing the notices.

Hearings at 35 Locations Across Noida and Dadri
To ensure transparency, hearings related to the notices will be held at 35 designated locations across Noida and Dadri. Key venues include:
Noida Authority Office, Sector 6
Government Inter College, Sector 12
Command Control Centre, Sector 94
Government Degree College, Sector 39
Millennium School, Sector 119
Various government schools and colleges in Dadri, Greater Noida West, Bisrakh, Chhapraula, and Kalonda
ADM Finance & Revenue Atul Kumar confirmed that hearings will be conducted systematically to give voters an opportunity to present their documents and clarify their status.

Administration Urges Public Participation
The district administration has urged residents to carefully check the draft voter list and ensure their names are correctly recorded, stressing that timely participation will help avoid exclusion from the final electoral roll.
