After 15 Years, Registry Finally Begins in Greater Noida’s Vrinda City

After nearly 15 years of waiting, residents of Vrinda City Society in Greater Noida finally have a reason to celebrate. Following an intense and sustained struggle by residents, the long-pending property registry process has officially begun, bringing long-awaited relief to hundreds of families.

According to residents, Vrinda City has a total of 382 flats, and after overcoming multiple hurdles, registrations for 166 flats have started in the first phase. The remaining flats are expected to be registered in the coming phases.

Fifteen Months of United Struggle
Residents revealed that although the society was constructed years ago, the registry process remained stalled for over 15 years, allegedly due to obstructions created by certain board members for personal financial gain.

Frustrated by the delay, society residents united around 15 months ago and launched a collective movement demanding their legal rights. Through continuous pressure, protests, awareness campaigns, and collective representation, residents kept the issue alive with authorities.
Their unity, awareness, and determination ultimately forced action, leading to the initiation of the registry process.

Allegations Against Society Board Members
Residents alleged that some members of the society’s board were deliberately creating obstacles in the registration process for monetary benefits. They claimed that repeated follow-ups and complaints were ignored for years until residents collectively raised their voices.

Only after sustained agitation did the society’s office bearers take cognizance of the issue and initiate fast-track action to begin registrations.

First Phase Begins, More Registrations Expected Soon
With the start of registrations for 166 flats, residents are hopeful that the remaining flats will also be registered in a transparent and time-bound manner. Society members have expressed confidence that the authorities will now ensure smooth completion of the process without further delays.

Residents Celebrate a Hard-Earned Victory
The beginning of the registry process has brought visible joy and relief among Vrinda City residents, many of whom had invested their life savings in the project. Residents described the moment as a victory of truth, unity, and perseverance, stating that their struggle proves that collective effort can bring justice, even after years of delay.
