A major boost to healthcare infrastructure in the National Capital Region came as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the KDSG Super-Speciality Hospital in Sector 10 of Greater Noida on Thursday.
The 300-bed tertiary-care facility has been established by legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in partnership with businessman Sunil Kumar Gupta, aiming to provide advanced and affordable healthcare services to residents of Greater Noida and nearby regions.

Healthcare Infrastructure Expanding in Uttar Pradesh
Speaking at the inauguration, CM Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh has made significant progress in strengthening healthcare infrastructure over the past few years.
He highlighted the government’s goal of improving access to medical services across the state.
“Uttar Pradesh has undergone a major transformation. We are now moving toward a model where every district will have its own medical college,” he said.
The Chief Minister also noted that government initiatives such as the Ayushman Bharat health card are helping expand healthcare access. According to him, the scheme currently benefits around 5.6 crore people, ensuring medical support for economically weaker sections.

Hospital to Generate Employment
The newly opened hospital is expected to create significant employment opportunities in the region.
Officials said that while the facility has 300 beds for patient care, it will also generate around 1,000 local jobs in medical, administrative and support roles.
The Chief Minister assured continued government support for investors and organisations contributing to the state’s development, particularly in sectors such as healthcare and infrastructure.

Vision for Patient-Centric Healthcare
Founder Kapil Dev said the hospital was built with the vision of providing honest, affordable and patient-first healthcare services.
“KDSG was created with the belief that quality healthcare must remain transparent, accessible and centred on the patient. Greater Noida needed an institution built on those values,” he said.

Advanced Medical Facilities
The hospital has been equipped with modern medical infrastructure, including:
●Modular operation theatres
●Multi-speciality intensive care units (ICUs)
●Catheterisation laboratory
●Emergency and trauma centre
●Advanced diagnostic services including radiology, pathology and nuclear medicine
Specialised treatment will be offered in multiple departments, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics and joint replacement, gastroenterology, pulmonology, nephrology, paediatrics and critical care.
Hospital officials added that the facility will operate through dedicated specialty centres, bringing multidisciplinary teams and advanced treatment technologies under one roof.
