In a major initiative to celebrate young innovators in the field of digital security, the Centre for Police Technology has announced the launch of the “Hackers 30 Under 30” global recognition programme.
The initiative aims to identify and honour 30 exceptional cybersecurity professionals under the age of 30 who are contributing significantly to strengthening the digital security ecosystem across the world.
The programme invites nominations from talented professionals working in areas such as ethical hacking, cyber security, digital forensics, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VA/PT), cyber crime investigation, cyber law, and AI security.
Recognising Young Innovators in Cybersecurity
According to organisers, the recognition programme will highlight young professionals who are playing a vital role in defending digital infrastructure against cyber threats.
Participants will be evaluated based on several factors, including:

●Professional achievements in cybersecurity
●Contributions to research and digital security practices
●Impact on cyber defence in government, corporate, and industrial sectors
Thought leadership and influence within the cybersecurity community
The initiative especially encourages nominations from India, while also welcoming submissions from cybersecurity experts across the globe.
Jury Panel to Select Top 30 Cyber Talents
The selection process will be overseen by a distinguished jury panel led by Triveni Singh, a well-known cybersecurity expert and former IPS officer.
The jury will carefully evaluate nominations based on technical excellence, innovation, public impact, and contributions toward strengthening cyber defence and security research.

Recognition and Virtual Award Ceremony
The final list of “Hackers 30 Under 30” will be officially announced on 1 May 2026.
Selected individuals will receive a Certificate of Honour recognising their outstanding contribution to global cybersecurity.
A virtual award ceremony will also be organised where each honouree will get five minutes to present their work, ideas, and future vision to the global cybersecurity community.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates must be below 30 years of age and actively working in fields related to cybersecurity or cybercrime investigation.
