In a remarkable achievement that reflects dedication and resilience, Noida’s Karishma Chauhan has secured the 17th rank in the prestigious Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) PCS 2024 examination, placing her among the top 20 candidates in the state.
At just 28, her journey stands as a powerful example of how persistence and self-belief can turn setbacks into success.

A Competitive Exam, A Standout Performer
The UPPSC PCS exam is one of the most challenging state-level civil service examinations in India, opening doors to key administrative roles such as:
●Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM)
●Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)
●Block Development Officer (BDO)
This year’s results highlight the scale of competition:
●947 total vacancies announced
●932 candidates selected
●319 women candidates (34%)
Women candidates made a strong mark:
●6 out of top 10 candidates were women
●Top 2 ranks secured by women
●13 women in top 20
Karishma Chauhan’s 17th rank places her among this rising wave of women shaping India’s administrative future.

From First Attempt Failure to Top 20 Success
Karishma’s success did not come easily.
In her first attempt, she could not clear even the preliminary stage. But instead of stepping back, she used that setback as a learning curve.
With renewed focus, she adopted a disciplined routine:
●Studying 14–15 hours daily
●Maintaining strict consistency
●Strengthening weak areas
Her journey reflects a crucial lesson:
Failure is not the end—it is preparation for a stronger comeback.

A Clear Vision for Public Service
Beyond ranks and achievements, what sets Karishma apart is her clarity of purpose.
She aims to work on:
●Women’s education
●Girls’ enrolment in schools
●Primary healthcare access
●Awareness of welfare schemes
Her focus reflects a ground-level understanding of issues that directly impact society.

Academic Background & Personal Life
Karishma completed her schooling in Noida before pursuing:
Bachelor’s degree in Zoology (Honours) from Delhi University
Postgraduate studies from IGNOU
Coming from a supportive family:
●Father: Businessman
●Mother: Homemaker
●Younger sister
Apart from studies, she enjoys badminton and cooking—showing a balanced personality beyond academics.

Not Stopping Here: UPSC Is the Next Goal
Even after securing a top rank in UPPSC, Karishma is not slowing down.
She has already set her sights on the next challenge—UPSC Civil Services Examination, which she plans to prepare for alongside her administrative responsibilities.
This reflects ambition not just to succeed—but to continuously grow.

Message for Aspirants
Karishma shares a simple yet powerful message for students:
“Study hard, stay consistent, and believe in yourself. Success will follow.”
Karishma Chauhan’s journey is more than just a rank—it is a story of resilience, discipline, and purpose.
In an exam where thousands compete, she proved that consistency beats pressure.
Her success not only brings pride to Noida but also inspires countless aspirants across the country—especially young women aiming to break barriers and lead from the front.
