The Haryana government has announced that it will begin the land acquisition process for constructing 24-metre internal and sector roads in Gurugram, a long-pending demand of residents and developers in the rapidly expanding city. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said the cost incurred for acquiring land and developing these roads will be recovered from builders, aiming to ensure faster infrastructure development in newly developing sectors.
