In a big push to ease chronic traffic congestion in Delhi-NCR, authorities have accelerated work on a new 80-metre-wide road in Greater Noida West. The upcoming stretch will directly connect Ace City roundabout (near Sector-3) to the 130-metre-wide main arterial road near Knowledge Park-5, offering a much-needed alternative route for commuters.
The 2.2 km-long road is expected to be completed by June 2026, with parallel work underway on drainage systems to prevent waterlogging during monsoon.
Direct Link to Reduce Traffic Pressure
Currently, heavy traffic from areas like Bisrakh, Char Murti Chowk, and Ghaziabad depends largely on a 60-metre-wide road, leading to frequent jams.
The new road will:
●Directly connect the 60m road to the 130m express corridor
●Reduce congestion at key choke points
●Improve travel speed and daily commute efficiency
Authorities are also developing service roads alongside the main stretch to ensure smooth local movement for residents.
Strategic Move Ahead of Noida International Airport Launch
This infrastructure upgrade comes at a crucial time, as the Noida International Airport in Jewar is set to become operational soon. With a sharp rise in vehicular movement expected post-launch, traffic management has become a priority.
Officials say the new road will play a key role in:
●Handling airport-bound traffic
●Reducing bottlenecks in Greater Noida West
●Strengthening connectivity between industrial and residential zones
Relief for Residents and Daily Commuters
Residents of Sector-3, nearby societies, and surrounding villages are expected to benefit significantly. The project, combined with:
●Underpass construction at Char Murti Chowk
●Road widening initiatives will collectively reduce congestion and improve road safety.
According to officials, the focus is on saving travel time, reducing fuel consumption, and ensuring smoother daily commutes.

Economic Impact: Real Estate to Gain Momentum
Better road infrastructure often translates into higher real estate value, and this project is no exception.
The improved connectivity is expected to:
●Attract more investors
●Increase property demand in Greater Noida West
●Enhance livability for existing residents
With lakhs of people already residing in the region, this development is likely to transform it into a more accessible and investment-friendly zone.
