Prajakta Koli, better known as MostlySane, has carved an extraordinary path from being a digital content creator to a United Nations speaker and youth climate advocate. What started as a passion for comedy and storytelling on YouTube soon transformed into a platform for social change, global representation, and climate advocacy.

From Radio Dreams to YouTube Stardom

Prajakta’s career began with an internship at a radio station, where she harbored aspirations of becoming a radio jockey. However, fate had other plans. Encouraged by her mentors, she started a YouTube channel in 2015, creating relatable content on everyday life and Indian quirks. With her infectious humor and down-to-earth personality, she quickly amassed millions of followers, making her one of India’s most influential digital creators.

Her content resonated deeply with young audiences, and she leveraged her growing influence to address social issues such as mental health, gender equality, and body positivity. This shift from entertainment to meaningful advocacy set the stage for her global recognition.

First Indian Youth Climate Champion (2022): Recognizing her dedication to climate action, Prajakta was appointed UNDP India’s first Youth Climate Champion. In this role, she actively promotes sustainability, climate awareness, and youth engagement in environmental efforts.

The Call to Unite (2020): During the pandemic, she represented India at ‘The Call to Unite’, a global 24-hour livestream event featuring personalities like Oprah Winfrey and Julia Roberts, aimed at inspiring unity and resilience.
