A Hyderabad-based dermatologist has taken the internet by storm after revealing what she calls the “number one complete high-fibre food in the world”—and surprisingly, it’s NOT oats, sabja, or leafy greens.
It’s chia seeds.

Dr Pooja Reddy, in her latest viral Instagram post, claimed that chia seeds offer 10 times more fibre than your daily bowl of oats, making them one of the most powerful superfoods for gut health.

‘Chia seeds beat sabja and oats by a huge margin’

Dr Reddy explained that just 30 grams of chia seeds give:

10 grams of fibre

Double the omega-3 of sabja seeds

5 grams of complete protein

High calcium for bone strength

Strong antioxidants for immunity

“Chia seeds have 50% more fibre than sabja,” she said, calling them nutritionally superior for daily health and digestion.

A natural cure for constipation
According to Dr Reddy, 7 out of 10 Indians suffer from chronic constipation due to low fibre intake and poor hydration.
When soaked for four hours, chia seeds absorb 10 times their weight in water, turning into a gel-like substance.

She calls this gel a “natural broom” that:

●Cleanses the intestines

●Restores gut balance

●Relieves constipation naturally

●Eliminates the need for expensive probiotics

‘You won’t need to waste thousands on supplements’

Dr Reddy recommends consuming the soaked chia seed gel as the last meal of the day at 7 PM.

She says this simple habit:

●Keeps you full till morning

●Reduces late-night cravings

●Fixes digestion

●Improves gut health

●Saves money on unnecessary supplements

How to use chia seeds — doctor’s method

●Take 30 grams of chia seeds
●Soak in a glass of water for 4 hours
●Drink the gel-water at 7 PM
●Optional: Mix with lactose-free high-protein milk

She calls it the cheapest, healthiest, and most powerful gut-cleaning routine.
