In a major push toward transparent and citizen-centric governance, the Delhi government has launched the CM Jan Sunwai Portal and mobile application, enabling residents to register complaints online and monitor their resolution without visiting government offices.
The initiative, announced under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, aims to simplify grievance redressal and ensure faster action across departments through a unified digital platform.
File Complaints From Anywhere
With the new portal, citizens can submit grievances related to civic services, infrastructure, public utilities, and government schemes directly from their homes. Each complaint will be digitally recorded, assigned to the concerned department, and tracked until resolution.
Officials said the system will bring accountability by allowing users to check real-time status updates, reducing delays and the need for repeated follow-ups.
Mobile App for Easy Access
To increase accessibility, the government has also released an Android mobile app. Residents can log issues, upload documents or photos, and receive notifications on progress — making the process simple even for those unfamiliar with complex online procedures.
The portal is accessible at cmjansunwai.delhi.gov.in, offering a single-window platform for public grievances.
75 Government Services at Local Centres
Alongside the grievance system, the government has expanded access to e-District services through the Common Service Centre (CSC) network. Around 75 services — including income, caste, residence, birth, and death certificates — will now be available at more than 7,000 CSC centres across Delhi for a nominal fee of ₹30 per service.
This move is expected to benefit residents who lack internet access or digital skills, bringing government services closer to neighbourhoods.
New Digital Governance Tools
The government also announced two additional platforms:
Asset Management Portal: To create a digital record of government land and buildings
CM Pragati Portal: To monitor project progress, approvals, and delays in real time
Officials said unified digital systems and strengthened cybersecurity measures are being implemented across departments to ensure efficiency and data protection.

Toward Faster, Transparent Governance
Authorities believe the Jan Sunwai system will significantly reduce bureaucratic hurdles, improve responsiveness, and empower citizens to hold departments accountable.
If implemented effectively, the initiative could transform how residents interact with the government — shifting from paperwork-heavy processes to fast, trackable digital services that put citizens at the centre of governance.
