A shocking crime has come to light from Greater Noida’s Knowledge Park area, where a woman allegedly stabbed her South Korean live-in partner to death following a heated argument during a late-night drinking session. The accused woman has been arrested by the Noida Police, and further investigation is underway.
According to police officials, the incident came to light on January 4, 2026, after GIMS Hospital informed the Knowledge Park police station that a foreign national had been brought dead to the hospital. Upon receiving the memo, police rushed to the hospital and began their inquiry.
The deceased has been identified as Mr. Duck Jee Yuh, a South Korean national who was working as a branch manager at a reputed mobile phone company. He was residing at ATS Pious Hideways Society in Sector-150, Greater Noida, under the Knowledge Park police jurisdiction.
Accused Identified as Live-in Partner from Manipur
The woman who brought the victim to the hospital was identified as Lunjeana Pamai, a resident of Bishnupur district in Manipur. During police questioning, she confessed to attacking Mr. Yuh with a knife.
Police investigations revealed that the couple had been living together in a live-in relationship for nearly two years. Frequent arguments and domestic disputes reportedly marred their relationship. According to the accused, the victim often assaulted her while under the influence of alcohol.
Argument During Party Led to Fatal Attack
On the night of the incident, the couple was reportedly consuming alcohol when an argument broke out. In a fit of rage, the woman allegedly stabbed the man in the chest with a kitchen knife. The injury proved fatal.
After the attack, the accused rushed the victim to GIMS Hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Police later confirmed that a single deep stab wound was found on the chest, though the post-mortem report will determine the exact nature and number of injuries.
Police Investigation Ongoing
The Knowledge Park police station has registered a case of murder and taken the accused into custody. Officials stated that the woman claimed she had no intention to kill her partner and acted in self-defense during the altercation. Her statement is being verified as part of the investigation.
Police have assured that all angles, including domestic violence and intent, are being thoroughly examined.
