In a citizen-friendly move aimed at strengthening electoral participation, the Noida administration has introduced flexible verification measures to assist residents whose details remain “unmapped” in the voter database. The initiative seeks to simplify the Special Intensive Revision process and ensure that no eligible voter is excluded from the electoral roll.
Tech-Enabled Verification for Greater Convenience
To reduce inconvenience for residents, officials have introduced video call-based verification and doorstep document checks. Instead of requiring individuals to physically visit government offices, authorities can now verify identity and address details remotely or through scheduled home visits.
Officials said the step is designed to help senior citizens, working professionals, and students who may face difficulty attending verification camps in person.
Special Camps and Local Hearings
Apart from digital verification, the administration has also planned special local hearing camps across polling booths. These camps allow residents to submit documents, clarify discrepancies, and resolve mapping errors quickly.
Booth-level officers (BLOs) have been instructed to proactively contact affected voters and guide them through the correction process.
Focus on Accuracy and Inclusion
Authorities clarified that the move is part of efforts to improve the accuracy of electoral rolls while maintaining transparency. The administration aims to eliminate duplicate entries and mapping errors without causing unnecessary hardship to genuine voters.
Officials emphasized that the objective is not deletion but verification, ensuring that every eligible citizen is correctly listed in the appropriate constituency.

Strengthening Democratic Participation
The initiative reflects a broader push toward digital governance and citizen convenience. By combining technology with on-ground support, Noida officials hope to enhance voter confidence and participation in upcoming elections.
Residents have been urged to cooperate with booth-level officers and complete verification promptly to avoid last-minute complications.
