The Noida Authority has intensified its citywide cleanliness campaign with a clear message: zero tolerance for negligence. With the goal of securing the number one position in the national Swachh Survey, the Authority has issued strict instructions to ensure spotless streets, efficient waste collection, and rapid grievance redressal across all sectors of the city.
Senior officials have warned that any lapse in sanitation duties will invite strict disciplinary action against concerned officers, staff, or agencies.

High-Level Review Meeting Held in Sector-91
On January 29, a joint review meeting of the Public Health Department and Civil Department was held at the auditorium of Panchsheel Balak Inter College in Sector-91. The meeting brought together senior officials, health inspectors, supervisors, sanitation workers, representatives of AG Enviro, other contractor agencies, and members of partner NGOs.
Officials reviewed ground-level sanitation performance and outlined clear responsibilities for agencies and field staff to improve execution and accountability.

100% Door-to-Door Waste Collection Mandatory
The Noida Authority has directed AG Enviro to ensure 100 percent door-to-door garbage collection across all residential areas. Any failure in daily waste pickup will result in strict action against the agency.
Mechanical sweeping agencies have also been instructed to carry out regular and high-quality cleaning on major roads, ensuring dust-free and visually clean streets.

Focus on Safety, Discipline and Accountability
Sanitation workers have been instructed to mandatorily use personal safety equipment, wear prescribed uniforms, and carry identity cards while on duty. Supervisors have been made responsible for the daily cleaning of roads, footpaths, service lanes, and drains, with a special focus on block-wise drain cleaning.
All removed silt must be transported the same day to the Sector-145 dumping ground, ensuring no secondary pollution.

Faster Resolution of Public Complaints
To improve public trust and responsiveness, officials have been directed to resolve complaints daily received through social media platforms such as Twitter, WhatsApp, A-Pag, and IGRS.
Market areas and vendor zones will also come under stricter monitoring. Shopkeepers and street vendors are being instructed to keep green and blue dustbins, and penalties will be imposed on those violating waste segregation norms.

Eliminating Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs)
The Authority has placed special emphasis on identifying and eliminating Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs). Regular inspections, awareness drives, and strict enforcement will be used to ensure these spots do not re-emerge.

A Push to Make Noida a National Cleanliness Leader
Addressing officials and sanitation workers, senior officers stressed that coordinated efforts between departments are crucial to transforming Noida into one of India’s cleanest cities. The campaign is being seen as a decisive push to set new benchmarks in urban cleanliness and civic discipline.
