As cyber threats grow more complex and disruptive, India is responding with a high-level push to build executive-level cyber resilience. In a strategic move backed by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), the Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF) has launched the Certified Cyber Crisis Management Professional (CCMP) program—an intensive national certification aimed at preparing business leaders, government officers, and cybersecurity professionals to navigate high-stakes digital emergencies.
The initiative comes amid growing concerns over ransomware attacks, financial frauds, and cross-border digital infiltration targeting both the public and private sectors.
Raising the Bar for Crisis Leadership
Set to begin on July 5, 2025, the CCMP course spans four weeks and will be delivered online over weekends. Its 16 practical modules are designed to train participants in everything from threat hunting and cyber crisis playbook design to digital forensics, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and legal compliance.
“This is not just another cybersecurity course,” said Harshvardhan Singh , Director at FCRF. “This is a leadership program for those who will be at the frontlines when cyber disasters strike—CEOs, CISOs, forensic experts, law enforcement, and policy architects.”
The program features case-based learning, real-time demonstrations, and incident response simulations, enabling participants to translate theoretical knowledge into field-tested skills.
