Cracking the UPSC Civil Services Examination is no easy feat—it demands focus, patience, and discipline. For IAS Pari Bishnoi, it also required living the life of a monk. Hailing from Kakra village in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district, this determined young woman turned isolation and meditation into her biggest allies in one of India’s toughest exams.

Born into a humble family and later becoming the daughter-in-law of a former Chief Minister, Pari Bishnoi proved that lineage might open doors, but success still demands relentless effort. A student of St. Mary’s Convent School, Ajmer, she scored 91% in Class 10 and 89% in Class 12, laying the foundation for a stellar academic career.

Before clearing the UPSC, she even qualified for the UGC-NET examination, establishing herself as a scholar with both intellect and grit.

A Life of Discipline and Meditation
Pari Bishnoi’s journey to the Indian Administrative Service is marked by simplicity and spiritual discipline. Living away from distractions, she adopted a ‘monk-like lifestyle’, dedicating her entire time to study and self-control. She practiced meditation to enhance focus and clarity—a habit she credits for keeping her mentally strong throughout the grueling preparation phase.

Education and Determination Hand in Hand
After completing her schooling, she pursued her undergraduate studies at Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi, followed by a Master’s in Political Science from MDS University, Ajmer. Her academic achievements reflect a perfect blend of dedication and curiosity.

A Role Model for Young Aspirants
Today, IAS Pari Bishnoi stands as an icon of resilience, inspiring thousands of UPSC aspirants who struggle to balance mental peace with intense competition. Her journey teaches that true success comes not just from books—but from balance, purpose, and belief in oneself.

Her story isn’t just about cracking an exam—it’s about conquering the mind.
