India continues its digital entertainment dominance on YouTube, with multiple homegrown channels leading the global charts in 2025. At the forefront is T-Series, the music and entertainment giant, which has extended its reign as the world’s most subscribed YouTube channel. Having made history in December 2021 by becoming the first channel to cross 200 million subscribers, it has now climbed to an astonishing 295 million subscribers, setting a benchmark few can touch.
While T-Series holds the throne, Sony Entertainment Television (SET India) and Zee Music Company also maintain their strong global rankings at #4 and #9 respectively. These entertainment powerhouses continue to thrive by delivering consistent, family-friendly, and culturally rich content to a worldwide audience.
One of the biggest shake-ups in this year’s rankings comes from Tips Official, which has leapfrogged Shemaroo Filmi Gaane to break into the top 10. With over 75.9 million subscribers, Tips has cemented its place as a digital-age music powerhouse, driven by its rich catalogue of Bollywood melodies and evergreen hits. In comparison, Shemaroo stands at 72.2 million, slipping just outside the top 10.
In a surprising but heartening twist, ChuChu TV Nursery Rhymes & Kids Songs stands tall at #6 with 96.4 million subscribers, making it the only kids’ content channel in the top 10. Its continued success reflects India’s growing influence in educational content for children, both domestically and globally.
Other notable names rounding out the top 10 include:
Goldmines (105M) – a leader in dubbed South Indian films
Sony SAB (101M) – known for its comedy-driven content
Zee TV (90.8M) and Colors TV (80.4M) – popular daily soap and entertainment channels
T-Series Bhakti Sagar (76.5M) – a devotional music hub, showing strong demand for spiritual content
India’s content creators are not just making noise—they’re setting records. From devotional bhajans to nursery rhymes, retro music to blockbusters, the diversity and depth of Indian digital content is unmatched. As data consumption grows and global viewers seek variety, Indian YouTube channels are capitalizing on their cultural richness, consistency, and mass appeal.
The YouTube scene in India is no longer just about entertainment—it’s a powerful industry that blends tradition, technology, and talent, placing India firmly at the center of the global digital map.
