India has taken a giant leap in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution with the launch of ‘Leo’, the country’s first indigenous AI-powered travel chatbot, developed entirely in-house by the Indore-based startup Luxe Comfort Travels.

This milestone innovation is set to redefine how Indians plan, book, and experience travel—making the process more personal, intuitive, and inclusive than ever before.

A Smart, Responsible, and Multilingual AI Travel Assistant
Unlike conventional bots, Leo is powered by advanced Generative AI and designed using Responsible AI principles—ensuring transparency, safety, and ethical responses.
“Leo is not just intelligent; it’s responsible,” said Miti Nenava, Co-founder and Director of Luxe Comfort Travels. “We conducted extensive red teaming tests to ensure Leo answers every user query safely and accurately. It’s built to assist, not mislead.”

Leo’s biggest strength lies in its India-first approach. The chatbot can fluently converse in multiple Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, and English—bridging the digital divide and making AI accessible to travellers from all corners of the country.

From Flight Status to Visa Queries — Leo Does It All
Developed with a blend of Large Language Models (LLMs) and an Agentic AI framework, Leo delivers real-time, human-like conversations. It can:

◆Check train PNRs and flight statuses,

◆Provide visa and travel advisory updates,

◆Share real-time forex information, and

◆Help users plan and personalise their trips effortlessly.

“Leo is more than a chatbot—it’s a digital travel agent that understands your preferences, your language, and your journey,” said Akash, CTO of Luxe Comfort Travels. “Our goal was to build a context-aware, multilingual assistant that connects Indian travellers to global experiences.”

Bridging India to the World
Luxe Comfort Travels, co-founded by IIM graduates Miti Nenava and Vaibhav Malviya, is already known for its curated travel services—spanning leisure, MICE, pilgrimage, and trade fair tours. With Leo, the startup aims to revolutionise travel tech in India by blending AI innovation with human empathy.

Leo is currently live on luxecomforttravels.com and will soon be launched as a mobile app on Android and iOS, enabling travellers to access AI-powered assistance on the go.

A Proud Moment for India’s AI Ecosystem
As global tech giants race to build smarter travel assistants, India’s own Leo stands as a proud example of indigenous innovation. By combining linguistic diversity, local context, and cutting-edge AI, Leo is positioning India firmly on the world map of intelligent travel technology.
