Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) from sectors 116 to 122 have urged the district administration to organise additional SIR camps within residential societies, citing inconvenience faced by residents who must travel outside their sectors to complete the process.
During a meeting with district officials, representatives highlighted that high-rise societies house thousands of families within compact geographic areas, making on-site camps essential for smoother participation.
Demand for Structured Administrative Coordination
The delegation stressed the need for stronger administrative coordination between resident bodies and district officials to ensure quicker resolution of civic and safety-related issues.
According to representatives, vertical housing complexes require structured engagement with authorities due to the scale of population and density. Without proper coordination, routine civic matters often take longer to resolve.
Singhal, who was part of the delegation, said the meeting emphasised the importance of regular communication channels between RWAs and government departments.
District Administration Responds
District officials assured residents that their concerns would be examined carefully. They reiterated their commitment to maintaining effective coordination with resident bodies for timely resolution of civic issues.
In an official statement, District Magistrate Medha Roopam said the delegation has been asked to submit a detailed written representation outlining all concerns discussed during the meeting.
“The issues raised will be examined and appropriate directions will be issued to the concerned departments wherever required,” the DM stated.
She further added that efforts would be made to organise additional SIR camps within residential societies to facilitate smoother participation of residents.

AOAs Also Participate
Representatives from Apartment Owners’ Associations (AOAs) of sectors 119 and 120 were also present during the meeting, reinforcing the collective demand for improved coordination and easier access to administrative services.
Residents expressed hope that the proposed measures would streamline processes and strengthen civic governance in Noida’s rapidly expanding high-rise clusters.
