The Pro Wrestling League (PWL) 2026 is set to reach its grand finale on February 1 at the Noida Stadium, promising a high-voltage showdown featuring world-class wrestling talent and a massive prize pool of ₹1.5 crore for the winning franchise.

Recognised by the Wrestling Federation of India, the league is being held from January 15 to February 1 and has emerged as one of India’s most prestigious professional wrestling tournaments. Organisers say the 2026 edition marks a major leap in global stature, competitiveness, and audience engagement.

Wrestlers from 17 Countries Compete on One Mat
This season, PWL has attracted wrestlers from 17 countries, giving the tournament a truly international character. Along with India, elite wrestlers from Iran, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Japan, Poland, Canada, Georgia, and several other powerhouse wrestling nations are competing. The participation of Japanese wrestlers, in particular, has added technical depth and global credibility to the league.

According to organisers, the diversity of wrestling styles—from Iranian strength-based techniques to Japanese technical precision—has made this season one of the most exciting in PWL history.

Rs 1.5 Crore Prize Pool Raises the Stakes
The financial incentives this year reflect the league’s growing stature.

Winning franchise: Rs1.5 crore
Runner-up: Rs75 lakh
Player of the Tournament: Rs2.5 lakh
Daily Player of the Match: Rs50,000
Fighter of the Match: Rs25,000
These rewards are aimed at encouraging peak performance, consistency, and fighting spirit throughout the tournament.
Six Franchise Teams Battle for Glory
Six franchise teams are competing for the coveted PWL 2026 title:
●Tigers of Mumbai Dangal
◆Maharashtra Kesari
◆UP Dominators
◆Punjab Royals
◆Haryana Thunders
●Delhi Dangal Warriors
Each team features a blend of Indian stars and international wrestlers, creating intense matchups and unpredictable results.

Noida Emerging as a Global Sports Destination
Speaking at the press conference, local representatives and organisers highlighted that hosting PWL 2026 is a major step toward positioning Noida as an international sports hub. With world-class infrastructure and growing fan interest, Noida is increasingly attracting global sporting events beyond traditional cricket tournaments.
Organisers believe the league not only strengthens India’s wrestling ecosystem but also inspires young athletes by exposing them to international competition at home.

As February 1 approaches, anticipation is building for a thrilling finale that will crown the new champions of Pro Wrestling League 2026 and further cement India’s place on the global wrestling map.
