Big relief for crores of Indian farmers! The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme has been officially released. With this latest disbursement, eligible farmers across the country have started receiving Rs2,000 directly into their bank accounts.
The central government’s flagship scheme continues to support over 11 crore small and marginal farmers, offering Rs6,000 annually in three equal installments to ease their financial burden.
Who Is Eligible for PM-KISAN?
To receive the benefit, a farmer must:
Own up to 2 hectares of cultivable land
Be registered on the PM-KISAN portal
Complete eKYC and land verification
Farmers who fail to meet these criteria or whose documents are not verified will not receive the 20th installment.
How to Check Beneficiary Status?
1. Visit the PM-KISAN website
2. Click on “Know Your Status”
3. Enter your Aadhaar or account number
4. The portal will display your installment status, name, and payment details
eKYC Process (Mandatory)
The eKYC is mandatory for receiving PM-KISAN benefits. Here’s how to do it:
Visit the PM-KISAN portal
Select eKYC
Enter Aadhaar number
OTP will be sent to your linked mobile
Verify and submit
Note: You can also complete eKYC through your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).

Ensure eKYC and land records are updated
