India’s youth power took center stage as Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 7th Khelo India Youth Games via video conferencing, declaring a renewed national commitment to nurturing talent, building world-class sports infrastructure, and hosting the Olympic Games in India by 2036.
Addressing over 6,000 athletes from across India, PM Modi said, “This platform is not just about medals; it’s about shaping a new sporting culture that boosts our soft power globally.”
The Games are being held across five cities in Bihar—Patna, Rajgir, Gaya, Bhagalpur, and Begusarai—marking a historic moment for the state’s sporting legacy.
