The world’s most powerful brands have once again redefined value in 2025, with Apple retaining its crown as the most valuable global brand, according to the latest Kantar BrandZ Global Top 100 report. With a staggering brand value of $1.3 trillion, Apple has now held the top spot for four consecutive years.

But the real headline for India? Four Indian companies have made it to the Global Top 100 list, showcasing the country’s growing influence on the world stage.

Top 10 Global Brands 2025 (By Brand Value)

1. Apple – $1.29 trillion (US)

2. Google – $944 billion (US)

3. Microsoft – $884 billion (US)

4. Amazon – $866 billion (US)

5. NVIDIA – $509 billion (US)

6. Facebook – $300 billion (US)

7. Instagram – $228 billion (US)

8. McDonald’s – $221 billion (US)

9. Oracle – $215 billion (US)

10. Visa – $213 billion (US)

Together, the Top 100 brands are valued at $10.7 trillion, up 29% from last year.

India’s Rising Stars

India has proven its global brand power with four strong entries in the Top 100:

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) – Ranked 45, $57.3 billion, +28%

HDFC Bank – Ranked 56, $44.9 billion, +4%

Airtel – Ranked 66, $37.1 billion, +47% (fastest-growing Indian telecom brand)

Infosys – Ranked 73, $33 billion, +34%

Among these, Airtel stood out as one of the fastest-growing telecom brands worldwide, while TCS continued to cement its leadership as India’s most valuable IT services brand.

The Big Picture

US brands dominate, making up 82% of the total value.

Chinese brands now account for 6%, doubling over two decades.

European brands declined sharply, dropping to 7% from 26% ten years ago.

New movers include Spotify (rank 76) and Zara (up five places to 65).

The 2025 rankings reflect not only the dominance of US tech but also India’s steady rise as a global brand hub. With companies like TCS, Infosys, HDFC Bank, and Airtel scaling global heights, the next decade could see more Indian names challenging the top ranks.
