Uttar Pradesh has announced a major leap in youth empowerment and competitive exam preparation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government is now running eight free residential coaching centres and 150 Abhyuday coaching centres, providing high-quality training for aspirants of UPSC, PCS, NEET, JEE, NDA, SSC, and banking exams—all completely free of cost.
Over 23,000 students have benefitted this year, marking one of the largest state-run coaching initiatives in India aimed at supporting meritorious and economically disadvantaged youth.
Two Powerful Coaching Models Changing Lives in UP
1. Free Residential Coaching (Lucknow)
These residential centres offer far more than classes—they provide a full ecosystem to help aspirants study with focus:
●Free hostel accommodation
●Nutritious meals
●Library facility
●Expert faculty
●Daily answer writing
●Model tests & doubt-solving
●Mentorship from senior officers
This special residential program at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Research and Training Institute, Lucknow is currently training 46 PCS Main aspirants, including SC, ST, and OBC candidates with family incomes below ₹6 lakh.
For many of them, this is their first chance at structured, high-quality coaching.
2. Chief Minister Abhyuday Coaching Centres (Across 75 Districts)
With 150 centres statewide, Abhyuday Coaching has become a lifeline for thousands preparing for:
●UPSC & PCS
●NEET & JEE
●SSC, Banking & Railways
●NDA/CDS
●B.Ed, TET and state-level recruitment exams
This year’s registration numbers show the massive demand:
●Civil Services: 8,663
●NEET: 5,574
●JEE: 2,018
●NDA/CDS: 801
●Other exams: 6,745

Students receive free study material, question banks, and exam-oriented resources, helping them build strong conceptual foundations even without costly coaching classes.
Aspirants’ Success Stories Strengthen the Initiative
One of the most inspiring examples is Shruti Shravan, who secured AIR 882 in UPSC CSE 2023. She credited the Abhyuday platform for enhancing her preparation strategy and confidence.
Her story represents thousands of dreamers across the state who now see competitive exams as reachable goals, not distant aspirations.
A Vision of Inclusion, Talent, and Opportunity
The UP government aims to ensure that “no capable student loses opportunities due to poverty.”
By offering free coaching, structured guidance, and learning support, the initiative is helping youth from remote, rural, and weaker sections compete on equal footing.
CM Yogi Adityanath has emphasised that this is not just an education scheme—it is a mission to build a skilled, confident, and competitive Uttar Pradesh.
With access to coaching now democratized, thousands of students are stepping closer to becoming India’s next:
●Civil servants
●Engineers
●Doctors
●Defence officers
●Banking professionals
The Residential and Abhyuday programs are shaping a new generation of achievers, strengthening the state’s vision for a Viksit Bharat.
