Uttar Pradesh has taken a major step toward transforming the National Capital Region’s economic landscape, signing investment agreements worth Rs 6,650 crore for large-scale infrastructure and development projects near the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar.
The agreements, finalised during Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Singapore, include plans for a world-class township, a hyperscale data centre park, and a logistics hub. Officials say these projects will accelerate urbanisation, strengthen digital infrastructure, and generate more than 20,000 jobs across the region.
Mega Township to Create New Urban Hub
The largest component of the investment is a ₹3,500-crore international theme-based township planned on 100 acres near Jewar. The project, expected to begin in 2027, aims to create a modern urban ecosystem with residential, commercial, and recreational facilities, positioning the airport corridor as a premium destination for living and business.
Hyperscale Data Centre to Boost Digital Economy
A Rs 2,500-crore data centre park is planned in Greater Noida, spread across 10 acres with a projected IT load capacity of 40 MW. Scheduled to start in 2028, the facility is expected to strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s ambition to become a national data hub, supported by favourable policies and expanding connectivity.
Logistics Park to Strengthen Supply Chains
The third project — a Rs 650-crore logistics park along the Kanpur-Lucknow highway — will enhance freight movement and industrial support in central Uttar Pradesh. Spread over 50 acres, the facility is expected to generate around 7,500 jobs and improve supply chain efficiency for businesses operating in the region.

Airport-Driven Growth Strategy
Officials emphasised that the developments are strategically aligned with the upcoming Noida International Airport, which is expected to emerge as one of India’s largest aviation hubs. The airport-centric growth model aims to attract global investors, create employment opportunities, and reshape the NCR’s economic geography.
During meetings with international business leaders, the chief minister highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s improving infrastructure, policy stability, and expanding expressway network as key factors driving investor confidence.
With large-scale investments now underway, the Noida–Jewar corridor is poised to become one of North India’s most dynamic centres for urban development, technology, and logistics in the coming decade.
