In a powerful affirmation of his global leadership, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again been ranked as the world’s most trusted leader with an impressive 75% approval rating, according to the latest data from US-based intelligence firm Morning Consult.
The survey, conducted between July 4 and 10, 2025, positions PM Modi ahead of global leaders like South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and Argentina’s Javier Milei. This marks yet another milestone in Modi’s over 11-year tenure, which now stands as India’s second-longest after Jawaharlal Nehru.
“Loved by over a billion Indians and respected by millions across the globe,” BJP leader Amit Malviya shared on X (formerly Twitter).
Modi’s approval rating remains unmatched, especially in comparison to other world leaders — with US President Donald Trump securing less than 45% and ranking eighth. The Morning Consult Global Leader Approval Tracker shows that Modi has consistently topped global trust charts since 2021, with approval ratings peaking at 78% in early 2024.
Why It Matters:
Modi’s leadership is seen as decisive, stable, and globally admired.
He recently completed 4,078 continuous days in office — overtaking Indira Gandhi’s record.
The approval comes amid ongoing global partnerships, including the recently hailed India-UK FTA.
Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal echoed national pride:
“His strong, decisive leadership ensures Bharat’s rise and the world’s respect.”
Global Standing (July 2025 Survey):
1. Narendra Modi – 75%
2. Lee Jae Myung – South Korea
3. Javier Milei – Argentina
4. Donald Trump – USA (Under 45%)
With rising global recognition and an enduring domestic mandate, Modi continues to shape India’s place on the world stage, not just as a regional power—but as a trusted global leader.
