In a landmark step toward digitally transforming India’s law enforcement ecosystem, the Centre for Police Technology has been launched — a first-of-its-kind institutional platform designed to connect police forces with cutting-edge technologies for smarter, faster, and evidence-based policing.
The initiative aims to bridge the gap between law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and technology innovators, bringing together Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), startups, and vendors under one collaborative platform. The Centre will provide access to live product demonstrations, technical assessments, and specialized training sessions, empowering India’s police forces with future-ready tools for investigation, intelligence, and public safety.
A Collaborative Hub for the Future of Policing
The Centre for Police Technology will act as a convergence point for stakeholders seeking to explore or adopt modern solutions in five major domains — Smart Policing and Surveillance Systems, Cybersecurity and Forensics, Communication and Command Infrastructure, Weapons and Tactical Equipment, and Investigation and Legal Consultancy.
Among the technologies showcased are advanced biometric systems, drone surveillance, AI-driven facial recognition tools, forensic workstations, OSINT and dark web monitoring systems, and predictive policing software designed to enhance real-time response and criminal intelligence capabilities.
Algoritha Security Appointed as Technology Partner
The Centre will operate under the technology partnership of Algoritha Security Pvt. Ltd., a leading Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) company with over a decade of experience in digital investigation, OSINT, predictive policing, and crypto/blockchain forensics.
Algoritha’s expertise in cyber forensics, threat intelligence, and AML/CFT compliance tools will power the Centre’s vision to make policing data-driven, tech-enabled, and globally aligned.

Guided by Visionary Leadership
The initiative will function under the dynamic leadership and strategic guidance of Prof. Triveni Singh, Ex-IPS Officer, widely known as one of India’s foremost experts in cybercrime and digital investigation. Under his direction, the Centre aims to foster stronger collaboration between law enforcement, academia, and the technology industry — creating a national ecosystem for continuous innovation in policing.
A Platform for Police and Industry Collaboration
The Centre is also open to OEMs, startups, and vendors wishing to demonstrate their security technologies, as well as defence, police, and LEA officials seeking to schedule product demonstrations. Interested organizations can connect with the Centre through its official portal to book live demos and training sessions.
By bringing the country’s brightest tech minds and policing professionals together, the Centre for Police Technology represents a powerful stride toward modern, evidence-led, and citizen-centric law enforcement — paving the way for India’s Smart Policing 2.0 era.
