The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially opened the online Information Submission Window for candidates who have cleared the prestigious Civil Services (Mains) Examination 2025. With this, the countdown to the final and most decisive stage — the Personality Test / Interview — has begun.

The portal, now live on upsc.gov.in, allows successful candidates to log in and fill or update essential personal, academic, and service-preference details. Once submitted, they must download the confirmation page, which will play a key role in processing their e-summon letters for the interview round.

A Crucial Step Before the Final Round
This information window is more than a formal update — it is the bridge between the Mains stage and one of India’s toughest interviews. Every detail submitted here will be used to verify the candidate’s profile, allocate interview boards, and streamline scheduling at the UPSC headquarters in Dholpur House, New Delhi.

UPSC officials have urged candidates to complete the process at the earliest to avoid delays in receiving their interview call letters, as the commission prepares to release e-summons over the coming weeks.

Timeline at a Glance

●Mains Result Declared: November 11, 2025

●Interview Venue: UPSC Bhawan, Dholpur House, New Delhi

●Portal Live: June 9, 2025

●Next Step: E-summon letters for Personality Test

With nearly 1,000 candidates expected to appear for the interviews, the commission aims to ensure a smooth and transparent transition into the final stage of the examination cycle.

A Make-or-Break Moment for Aspirants

The Personality Test is widely regarded as the ultimate filter of the exam — a 30-minute conversation that evaluates confidence, integrity, decision-making, clarity of thought, mental alertness, and suitability for a career in public service.

For many candidates, this is the most anticipated phase, where years of preparation merge with real-time judgment and personality assessment by expert boards.

Why the Information Window Matters

UPSC’s digital submission system ensures:

●Accurate candidate records

●Efficient interview scheduling

●Transparency in processing

●Faster dispatch of e-summons

●Seamless coordination across interview boards

This step marks the beginning of the final stretch for thousands of aspirants dreaming of joining India’s top administrative ranks — IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and others.

As the nation’s most competitive recruitment process enters its conclusive phase, all eyes are now on Dholpur House, where future administrators will soon face the panel that decides their destiny.
