Yamuna City is poised to become a major hub for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fintech, IT companies, and data centres, as the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) moves ahead with an ambitious plan to develop a 500-acre high-tech zone in Sector-11.
As part of this initiative, YEIDA will soon issue an Expression of Interest (EOI) to appoint a specialised agency that will design, develop, and operate this futuristic technology and financial services hub. The project aligns with the Uttar Pradesh government’s broader vision to position Gautam Buddh Nagar as a global centre for AI and advanced technologies.
A Global-Scale Tech & Financial Ecosystem
The proposed hub will feature world-class infrastructure, high-speed digital connectivity, advanced software ecosystems, and robust data-driven facilities. Recognising the critical role of data in AI-led innovation, the sector will actively invite AI firms, fintech startups, IT companies, data centres, banks, stock exchanges, insurtech firms, and other financial service providers.
YEIDA will provide land and essential infrastructure, while the selected agency will be responsible for the development model, operations, and attracting leading domestic and global companies. The final structure of the project will be decided after evaluating responses received through the EOI process.

Boost to Investment and Employment
The AI-Fintech hub is expected to draw large-scale investments and generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities, especially for skilled youth in technology and finance sectors. Officials believe this project will significantly accelerate industrial growth in the Yamuna Expressway region.
Strategic Advantage of Airport Connectivity
YEIDA CEO R.K. Singh said that developing Sector-11 as an AI, IT, and financial hub will give Yamuna City a strong global identity. He added that the project will gain further momentum due to its proximity to the Noida International Airport, making the region highly attractive for international investors and multinational companies.
India’s Next Tech-Fintech Corridor
With this initiative, the Yamuna Expressway region is steadily moving towards becoming India’s next major tech-fintech corridor, offering new opportunities for investors, startups, and young professionals, while reinforcing Uttar Pradesh’s position on the global technology map.
