If watching India’s most magnificent national celebration from close quarters is on your 2026 bucket list, here’s some good news. The Ministry of Defence has officially announced the ticket booking schedule and prices for the Republic Day Parade 2026 and Beating Retreat ceremonies to be held at Kartavya Path in New Delhi.

Tickets for the Republic Day Parade on January 26, the Beating Retreat Full Dress Rehearsal on January 28, and the main Beating Retreat ceremony on January 29 will go on sale starting January 5, 2026. With limited daily quotas, officials advise viewers to book early to avoid missing out on the iconic event.

When Will Tickets Be Available?
Ticket sales will remain open from January 5 to January 14, 2026. Booking will be available through both online and offline modes.

A key highlight this year is that Republic Day Parade tickets will be released daily as per a fixed quota, making early booking the safest option for those eager to witness the grand spectacle live at Kartavya Path.

Ticket Prices: Affordable for All
The Ministry has kept ticket prices accessible for the general public:

Republic Day Parade (January 26): Available in two seating categories
●Beating Retreat Full Dress Rehearsal (January 28): Rs 20

At a nominal cost, spectators can enjoy the grandeur of India’s armed forces, marching contingents, cultural tableaux, and soul-stirring military band performances.

Where Does the Beating Retreat Take Place?
The Beating Retreat ceremony is held at Vijay Chowk on Kartavya Path, transforming the area into a mesmerizing musical arena as evening descends. The coordinated performances by Indian military bands mark the ceremonial conclusion of Republic Day celebrations, leaving spectators with an unforgettable patriotic experience.
