The Greater Noida Authority has initiated preparations to carry out a series of development works across both residential sectors and villages under its jurisdiction. Tenders for these projects have already been issued, and officials have stated that construction activities will commence soon after the tender process is completed.
As part of the initiative, the Authority plans to undertake development works worth several crores of rupees. Responding to long-standing demands from residents, tenders have been floated for the construction and renovation of cremation grounds at Haldoni, Sector Techzone-4, and Palla village. Officials said these facilities were urgently needed and would help address civic shortcomings faced by local communities.
Wide Range of Infrastructure Projects Planned
In addition to cremation grounds, the Authority has outlined several other infrastructure and maintenance projects across different locations. These include:
◆Repair of boundary walls in Sector Chi-3
◆Construction of a playground boundary wall and installation of open gym equipment in Chuharpur Khadar village
◆Resurfacing of internal roads in the Affordable Housing (AHP) buildings of Sector Pi-1
◆Construction of RCC drains and raising of CC roads between Dhoom Manikpur and Aamka village
Resurfacing works on 6% abadi residential plots in Patwari village
Apart from these, annual maintenance works will also be carried out in several sectors, including Ecotech-3, Swarn Nagari, Sector 37, Sector 3, Sector Gamma-2, Ecotech-1, and ETA-1.

Authority Assures Timely Execution
Officials of the Greater Noida Authority said that the development works are part of a broader effort to improve civic infrastructure in both urban and rural areas. They assured that once the tendering formalities are completed, work will begin simultaneously at all designated sites.
The Authority reiterated that it remains committed to balanced development and aims to address infrastructure gaps that residents have been raising for a long time.
