The Greater Noida Authority on Friday demolished illegal constructions in the notified floodplain area of Bisrakh village, freeing nearly 30,000 square metres of land from unauthorised occupation.
The action was taken on Khasra number 135, where colonisers had allegedly attempted to develop a residential colony by constructing boundary walls and marking plots without approval.
Strict Drive Against Unauthorised Construction
Greater Noida Authority CEO N.G. Ravi Kumar has directed the project department to continue the anti-encroachment drive across notified areas. Officials said the crackdown has created panic among illegal builders operating in the region.
Additional CEO Sumit Yadav, who is overseeing the encroachment removal campaign, stated that any construction carried out without prior permission in a notified area is illegal and will face strict action.
He urged residents not to fall prey to unauthorised colonisers and advised prospective buyers to verify land details with the Authority’s land records department before purchasing property in Greater Noida.
Details of the Demolition Drive
General Manager (Projects) A.K. Singh said that illegal attempts were being made to establish a colony on the 30,000 sq metre land parcel in Bisrakh. Colonisers had erected boundary walls to claim possession of the land.
The demolition was carried out under the supervision of Rohit Gupta, Manager of Work Circle-3, along with Assistant Manager Rajeev Kumar and other officials.
The operation involved:
●Two JCB machines
●Three dumpers
●Police personnel deployed by the Authority
Officials warned encroachers that any attempt to reoccupy the cleared land would invite strict legal action.

Public Advisory
The Authority reiterated that buyers should exercise caution and verify land ownership and approval status before investing in property to avoid financial losses.
The anti-encroachment campaign is expected to continue in other parts of the notified region in the coming weeks.
