On Monday evening, Commissioner Singh conducted a foot march along with Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Dr. Rajiv Narayan Mishra and other police personnel. The team patrolled busy marketplaces, crowded areas and localities with mixed populations to monitor security arrangements.

She also instructed traffic police to maintain smooth traffic flow and take strict action against drunk driving during the festival.
Additionally, police officers were asked to identify individuals with criminal tendencies who could disturb public order and take preventive legal action against them.
