The Indian Air Force (IAF) is gearing up for a grand ceremony to honor the graduating flight cadets of the 213 Officers’ Course. The Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) will be held on June 15, 2024, at the Air Force Academy (AFA) in Dundigal, Hyderabad. This prestigious event marks the culmination of rigorous pre-commissioning training for the future defenders of the Indian skies.

Air Chief Marshal to Oversee Ceremony

The parade will be graced by the presence of Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), who will serve as the Reviewing Officer (RO). During the ceremony, Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari will confer the President’s Commission upon the graduating trainees, officially inducting them into the IAF.

Awarding Excellence and Bravery

The CGP is not just a graduation ceremony; it’s a celebration of excellence and dedication. The Flight Cadet from the Flying Branch who tops the overall training will be bestowed with the coveted Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) ‘Sword of Honour’ and the President’s Plaque. This exceptional cadet will also have the distinct honor of leading the parade. Similarly, the trainee who excels among the ground duty branches will be awarded the President’s Plaque by the RO.
