The Noida Citizen Forum, a prominent platform advocating civic issues and public welfare in the city, has announced its new 52-member Executive Committee for the 2026–2028 term. During a special executive meeting held in Noida, Shalini Singh was unanimously appointed as the Executive President of the Forum, marking a new chapter in its journey.

The programme was chaired by Dr Mahesh Kumar Agrawal, under whose leadership the executive body was formally constituted. The appointment of Shalini Singh is being seen as a strong signal that the Forum is set to intensify its efforts on education, civic amenities, and broader public interest issues in Noida.

Strong Political and Civic Presence at the Event
The event gained added significance with Noida MLA Pankaj Singh attending as the chief guest, while former Member of Parliament Meera Singh graced the occasion as a special guest. Addressing the gathering, MLA Pankaj Singh praised the Noida Citizen Forum for consistently raising critical civic issues and presenting them responsibly before society and the administration.

He assured the Forum of his continued support, particularly in matters related to education, urban infrastructure, and citizen-centric development, emphasizing that the focus should be not only on dialogue but also on visible and effective solutions on the ground.

Commitment to Result-Oriented Governance
MLA Pankaj Singh highlighted that concrete and outcome-driven steps would be taken to ensure faster resolution of public grievances in Noida. Congratulating the newly formed executive committee, he reaffirmed his commitment to cooperating with the Forum in all initiatives related to public welfare.

Newly appointed Executive President Shalini Singh, while outlining the Forum’s vision and future roadmap, stated that the organisation would work actively to strengthen civic facilities, social participation, and collaborative governance in Noida. She emphasized that addressing city-related issues on a priority basis and ensuring their resolution would remain the Forum’s core commitment.

Media’s Role as a Bridge Between Citizens and Administration
Speaking on the occasion, Noida Media Club President Alok Dwivedi underlined the evolving role of media in a rapidly growing city like Noida. He said media today functions not just as a source of news, but as a trusted bridge between citizens, policymakers, and administrators.

He added that issues raised by the Noida Citizen Forum are being amplified through media platforms to ensure wider reach and meaningful engagement, helping build constructive dialogue around public concerns.

The event witnessed the presence of several prominent members and citizens, including Prashant Tyagi, Vishal Singh, Indrani Mukherjee, Dr V.K. Gupta, Dr N.K. Sharma, Dr S.P. Jain, Ankit Arora, Garima Tripathi, Rahul Mundra, Chakradhar Mishra, Satyam Pandey, Rashmi Dwivedi, Vikas Kapoor, and Anand Jauhari, among others.
