Greater Noida is set to emerge as a major hub for advanced medical technology as a ₹587-crore manufacturing facility will be established at the Medical Devices Park developed by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). The project will be spread across 10 acres and is expected to significantly strengthen India’s medical manufacturing ecosystem while generating thousands of employment opportunities.
The land has been allotted to Shukra Pharmaceuticals Limited, marking one of the biggest investments in the Medical Devices Park so far. YEIDA officials handed over the allotment letter to the company, reflecting growing investor confidence in the region’s industrial infrastructure.
World-Class Cancer Treatment Technology to Be Manufactured
One of the most notable aspects of the project is the manufacturing of Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) technology. BNCT is considered one of the most advanced treatment methods for complex and hard-to-treat cancers. With this facility, India will move closer to becoming a global leader in next-generation cancer treatment solutions.
Officials said the project aligns with the national vision of reducing dependence on imported medical technologies and strengthening domestic production of critical healthcare equipment.
Wide Range of Advanced Medical Devices Planned
The Medical Devices Park will focus on manufacturing a comprehensive range of high-end medical equipment, including:
●Radiology and imaging devices such as CT scanners, MRI machines, PET scanners, X-ray systems, and ultrasound machines
●Anaesthesia systems and respiratory care solutions for ICUs and operation theatres
●Life-saving cardiac implants like heart valves, stents, and Left ●Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs)
●Ventilators and oxygen concentrators for respiratory support
A major highlight of the project will be the development of medical robotic systems, including soft-tissue surgical robots, orthopedic robotic systems, dental robotic systems, and neuro-spine robotic platforms. These technologies are expected to revolutionise surgical precision and patient outcomes.

Employment and Regional Growth
YEIDA officials said the project will create direct and indirect employment for thousands of people, giving a major boost to the local economy. The development is also expected to attract allied industries, research institutions, and global investors to the region.
Senior YEIDA officials, including the CEO and ACEO, were present during the allotment ceremony, along with representatives from Shukra Pharmaceuticals.
Step Towards Global Healthcare Leadership
Authorities believe that the Medical Devices Park will not only strengthen NCR’s industrial profile but also play a key role in positioning India as a global hub for medical innovation, advanced healthcare manufacturing, and export-driven growth.
