Noida is preparing to take a major leap on the global stage with the development of a premium Convention & Habitat Centre in Sector-94, near Kalindi Kunj. Planned over nearly one lakh square metres, the ambitious project is being positioned as Noida’s signature building and a future landmark for large-scale conferences, exhibitions, cultural events, and global summits.

According to Noida Authority officials, the project—titled Noida Convention & Habitat Centre—has the potential to rival iconic venues such as Delhi’s India Habitat Centre. Once completed, it is expected to transform Noida into a major international event hub for the NCR.

Strategic Location at the City’s Gateway

The proposed complex will come up at one of Noida’s most strategic locations—Sector-94, close to the Delhi-Noida border and Kalindi Kunj—making it easily accessible from South Delhi, central NCR, and upcoming regional corridors. Officials say the location has been chosen deliberately to give visitors a strong first impression of Noida as a modern, global city.

Project to Be Developed Under PPP Model
The Noida Authority will develop the project under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, ensuring zero financial burden on the authority. Instead, the authority expects to generate nearly Rs 3,000 crore in revenue, along with continuous income through a monthly revenue-sharing mechanism.

Recently, three private companies presented their proposals for the project. Officials said that once the selection process is completed, work will begin swiftly on ground implementation.

Designed by an International-Standard Consultant
The design of this signature complex has been prepared by a renowned consultancy firm with experience in planning landmark buildings in India and abroad. The focus is on creating a mixed-use, high-capacity, world-class facility that integrates business, culture, hospitality, and recreation within one unified campus.

Master Plan 2031-Compliant Development
The project is proposed on Plot No. 4 and 5 of Sector-94 under Noida Master Plan 2031. While the land use is commercial, planners have adopted a mixed-use approach, allowing multiple activities—conferences, exhibitions, hospitality, cultural events, and limited residential use—within the same complex.

Five-Zone Integrated Complex
The Convention & Habitat Centre will be developed in five major zones to ensure efficient operations and visitor convenience:
◆West Block: approx. 21,659 sq m
◆Central Block: approx. 12,924 sq m
◆East Block: approx. 15,691 sq m
◆Hotel Zone: approx. 1,980 sq m
Additional zones for common facilities, activity areas, and infrastructure

World-Class Facilities Under One Roof
As per the blueprint, the complex will feature:
◆Two ultra-modern auditoriums with 2,050 and 750 seating capacity
◆A 150-room premium hotel
◆Art gallery and open-air theatre
◆Large exhibition and activity zones
◆Massive parking complex with direct metro connectivity
◆Mixed-use residential provision on upper floors

Green and Smart Building Focus
The entire project will be developed as a green and smart building, incorporating:
◆LED lighting across the campus
◆0.5 MW solar power generation
◆Smart card access system
◆EV charging stations
◆Gas-based power backup
◆100% air-conditioned premises
◆Advanced MBR-based sewage treatment plant
◆Dual water pipeline system
◆Solid waste management solutionsAutomated parking and ◆Automated parking and electronic display systems

A New Global Identity for Noida
Officials believe that once operational, the Noida Convention & Habitat Centre will not only boost tourism and business events but also enhance Noida’s global image, attract international investments, and create large-scale employment opportunities.
