Florida The U.S. state of Florida has stepped up legal action against Meta over the safety of teenagers on Facebook and Instagram, asking a court on Wednesday to order immediate changes to the company’s platforms. Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier asked a Pasco County court to require Meta to identify and remove users under the age of 14 from Facebook and Instagram in the state. New Delhi The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has terminated with immediate effect the spectrum assigned to Reliance Communications Ltd (RCOM) and its wholly owned subsidiary Reliance Telecom Ltd (RTL) through auctions conducted in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Following the termination, the concerned spectrum assignments have been withdrawn or reverted to the Central Government. RCOM and RTL will no longer have the right to use the affected spectrum. Yavatmal The Enforcement Directorate has intensified its investigation into the alleged ₹242 crore bank fraud linked to Babaji Date Mahila Sahakari Bank in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal district. The agency conducted searches at nine locations across the district under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Vijayawada The Andhra Pradesh High Court has been told that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) found no deliberate fraud or illegality in the selection process for the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Group-1 Mains examination. Counsel representing the selected candidates submitted that the investigation had only pointed to administrative lapses and violations of procedure.
